i have a 2014 froaster with 46,000 miles at n
JA: What is the make/model of your car?
Customer: mt
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: no 4000 miles on oil change and used a quart of oil is this normal
JA: When was your last oil change?
Customer: august 28th 2016
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: is this normal for that much loss of oil

It is not normal. Subaru has issues with the foresters and oil consumption. Although it is not dangerous consumption it still shouldn't be that much. Since subaru is aware of this issue and there is actually a lawsuit involving it I would bring it to the dealer. They will be able to guide you best. Also do some research into the lawsuit regarding oil consumption on the 2011-2014 Forester.
