Hi,can the shifter be moved left to right while in this mode?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
it will shift on the knob and steering wheel between the sport and sport # modes but will not go to the intelligent mode.

Has there been any work done recently, are there any warning lights on the dash?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
We put in a new turbo based on a Subaru bulletin out. No warning lights on.

Did it shift properly before the repair?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
It isn't a shifting issue. It shifts fine. I always run in it intelligent mode for the gas mileage. It was fine before and after the new turbo were done. This is a recent.

Just so I'm clear the only problem your having is it won't dial into intelligent mode

This may be just the switch then,as long as the shifting is fine we've had some bad switches in the past, poor placement for this switch located near cupholders

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
Even if I can't shift it on my steering wheel either?

Looking at wiring diagram, both circuits go to dash meter and the inputs from each switch go to a micro computer inside dash meter, there may be a fault in the micro computer in dash especially because you can toggle between sport modes
