2005 Outback 2.5i, trying to. It won't start. Friday morning

Customer Question

Hi Pearl
JA: What is the model/year of your Subaru?
Customer: 2005 Outback 2.5i
JA: Are you fixing your Outback yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: trying to. It won't start. Friday morning I drove to the YMCA to work out, came home, worked all day, then when going out to the Post Office it wouldn't crank. had new battery and battery cables replaced 3 weeks ago, battery is still strong
JA: Have you checked the fuel supply? And are all the spark plugs working?
Customer: they checked alternator, starter, everything and determined that the battery cables were bad and had drained the battery I had, so that's why they replaced all that. I have not checked fuel supply or spark plugs
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Yes
