Hi there,

Do you know if the car has any injector pulse?

Expert:  Mike V. replied 1 year ago.

I realize there isn't any spark, but the spark and injector pulse are both driven by the cam and crank sensors. Also, the timing belt. If the timing belt has jumped a few teeth, then you would have neither. I just think you should check the timing belt before condemning the computer. It is possible it's not any good, but a timing issue is more common then the computer. Especially on these older DOHC engines.
