Customer Question

My 2001 Outback jerks after driving some distance. It has been at Subaru dealer a week - they can't get it to jerk.
JA: What is the model/year of your Subaru?
Customer: Outback - 2001 - 6 cylinder - 123,000 miles - never been serviced except by dealer since I bought in 2004
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: NO
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: The dealer has replaced alternator twice in a week - never was the alternator. Ni air in fuel and no gas tank leak (so they say)
JA: Do the vents feel cold? Is there a coolant leak?
Customer: No, AC works fine
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Subaru Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.
