What year model is your outback?

Schrader makes a really nice kit. The only downside is that it doesn't show the pressures through the factory system. It uses a small add on screen that you can mount somewhere inside the vehicle. This would be the least expensive option.

Is there a way to monitor through the existing system installed in the car

I'm not sure what exactly is left out on the Canadian model. It would most likely require an installation of the TPMS module, programming of the PCM, and then installation of tire sensors in all of the tires.I can imagine it would be very expensive if you could find a dealership willing to do it. They would be the only place that could get a hold of the parts and perform the programming. This kit is only $140 on amazon. Again not the factory style, but the simplest and least expensive option.
