Hello, my name is Bobby. Thank you for the question. Can you tell me if all of the other lights function properly.

Everything in the car works perfectly except for these lights which will not turn off even when locking the car with the remote and turning ALL switches off. When I reconnect the battery the park lights come back on immediately.

Thank you. Most of the time this is caused by a short in the combination switch which turns these lights on. It can also be an issue with the relay for the system but that is not as common. You would need a voltage meter to run some tests to find out which one it is. Do you have a meter and were you planning on fixing this yourself?

Looks like I will have to take it to an auto electrician. Thanks anyway.

I am sorry that this not an easy fix. If the switch itself will not turn it off then a diagnosis needs to be done. If I can help you further please let me know.
