Security light is flashing. Have checked the doors, the hood and the gas lock...all are fine. How do I turn it off?

Hi there,

The security light always flashes. This is normal unless it's flashing when the car is running. Its a theft deterrent built into the car. It will not run the battery down unless you don't drive the car for 3 weeks or so. If it's on when you are driving or when the ignition is on, then there is a problem, otherwise it's not a problem.

It will also flash at different intervals depending on the mode you're car is in.
