Customer Question

I have a 1994 legacy suburau that at times seems to lock up. The car is still running and goes thru the gears but will not move. The clutch still engages also. Something seems to over heat when this happens but can't locate the source of the overheating.

this sounds like a locked up differential or binding brakes

I'd suggest getting the car in the air so the wheels are off the ground and then turning the wheels each by hand to ensure they all move freely

and then repair any brakes that are binding up
