Subaru Forester: Have just had battery changed in my 2006 Subaru

Customer Question

Have just had battery changed in my 2006 Subaru Forester LLBean at a Firestone shop. Second time I started it, check engine light came on steady and cruise control light is blinking continuously. (Cruise control doesn't work, too.) What's wrong?

Hi there,
The engine light means the ECM has stored a DTC, hopefully idle relearn procedure.
The cruise control light flashes and won't work until the engine light problem is fixed.
Hope this helps.
