Subaru Outback XT: I have a low, kinda rough idle on a 2008

Customer Question

I have a low, kinda rough idle on a 2008 outback xt. 75,000 miles oil changed at ~2500 miles with full synthetic. No hesitation when accelerating or cruising at speed, but when stopped and at an idle (~ 600 rpm) it feels as if it would stall, it hasnt. But the idle is low enough to give the car a slight shimmy, like if it had bigger cams.

Hi ,my first step in diagnosis is to have a compression test done ,without a check engine light it's hard to pinpoint but at least the compression test will tell us what condition the engine is internally, thanks for your time.
