Your fuel pump is controlled by your fuel pump controller. THe fuel pump controller needs to get powered up in order to operate. It gets powered up via fuel pump relay. Here is a wiring diagram.

Thanks, XXXXX XXXXX fuel pump relay works 100% of the time. the fuel pump controler only grounds the fuel pump 50% of the must be controled by the computer. this is the wire that grounds the fuel pump for a few seconds with key on engine off. is there any way to ck pwr/grounds from the ECM in this ciccuit. Or any other thoughts??

Sorry for the delay!

If your fuel pump controller is only working some of the time, then just be sure to check all of its inputs. If all of the inputs are present when the fuel pump controller is not working, then the fuel pump controller is bad and will need ot be replaced.
