We have a pole barn 24 x 30 with 2x6 trusses 24 inches apart. We told the builder we wanted a storage loft but we cannot get a straight answer on how much weight we can store up top. We live in West Michigan and do get snow so we are thinking about this as well.

Do you have the shop drawings?

No
Structural Engineer: StructuralEng, Consultant replied 8 months ago

Ok. Without shop drawings, it will require a full analysis of the trusses. I can do that, but I will need to submit a premium service offer to do the analysis and I will need quite a bit more information from you for me to do the analysis. Let me know if you would like me to submit the offer.
