VerifiedIf this is typical stud and joist steel framing you need diagonal bracing
A 6" wide 20 gauge strip is fastened to the exterior of the studs 2 screws per stud. If you have no windows the X brace can either span corner to opposite corner or 2 X's at least a third of the wall distance one at each end. If you have an intervening window the X bridges the space between the corner and the window opening.
