I want to remove a 20' bearing wall with no roof load only 2

Customer Question

I want to remove a 20' bearing wall with no roof load only 2 x 6 ceiling joist and add a flush beam. Will three 14" by 1 3/4" micro lams support the span? Two 14" x 1 3/4"? 12" micro lam?
JA: OK. Is there anything else the Structural Engineer should be aware of?
Customer: Just supports ceiling load, joists 16" on center with covered 1/2" wall board and plaster
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Structural Engineer about your situation and then connect you two.
