Customer Question

I have a 32x60 pole barn (metal roof, clear span trusses, 6x6 poles 12ft on center along the 60 foot run)) with a slab poured after construction including 12 inch deep perimeter footings.
I want to create a storage loft in the end bay to create a floor space 32x12. I plan on scabbing in 2- 2x6's PT pine to the poles on each side and then stick framing the end wall. I will set 2x8 joists 16 OC from the framed wall to a beam supported by the 2x6's and spanning the 32 feet. I poured a 3x3x2 foot deep footer during the slab work to support the center post and plan on using another 6x6.
Can I use a 2x12 /1/2 inch ply / 2x12 / 1/2 inch ply / 2x12 built beam to span that 16 feet to the center pole?
