Building a 12' x 14' deck about 9' off the ground I am considering

Customer Question

building a 12' x 14' deck about 9' off the ground I am considering using either a 2x12 14' glulam or 2 2x12 as my support beam for my joists. I am probably over building as is but you just never know. the deck will not have an undue amount of static weight. I just do not know if it is worth the extra cost for a glulam vs 2 2x12s.
JA: OK. Is there anything else the Structural Engineer should be aware of?
Customer: I do not think so. i live in nw montana we do sometimes get a couple of feet of snow and on rare occasions as much as four feet, other than that I cannot think of anything that would affect it
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Structural Engineer about your situation and then connect you two.

Could you make a rough drawing and take a closeup picture of it with your phone and attach that? I just want to make sure I fully understand your configuration.
