My son is going to buid a pole barn with a ranch home on

Customer Question

My son is going to buid a pole barn with a ranch home on top. The dementions are 32 by 56. My question is if we cut our own structural beams from our woods, how many would we need and how big square should they be?
He doesn't want support poles inside the pole barn. Can they be used green?

This is a very general question requiring a very specific answer

I don't understand the response.

In order to answer your question with any reliability, I would need to do a complete lateral analysis on the structure. I can do that as an additional service, but I would need a few days to complete it.
