I have a 6 inch slab on the side of my house that is 12'

Customer Question

I have a 6 inch slab on the side of my house that is 12' wide. It slopes a total of 2.75 inches. I wish to pour additional concrete on top to level out. How thick should the shallow end be? I live in central Florida. No frost.

You can make the shallow side 2" thick if you are doing a bonded overlay and use a non-shrink mix with smaller than typical aggregate.
