I have a home built on a slab. The home has a sunken living

Customer Question

I have a home built on a slab. The home has a sun***** *****ving room that I would like to fill with concrete and bring up to the same grade level as the rest of the house. Any problems doing this?

Is the house a slab on grade? How sunken is the living room? How many feet?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The slab is on grade. The room is sunken by 6 inches.

There is a small chance the 6" of concrete could cause additional localized settlement, but if the sub grade was properly compacted and prep'd, it shouldn't.
