Hello. I can help. what is the joist length on each side of the beam? Is it supporting one floor or two? What about an attic?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
This was an exterior wall and the joist to the right is 14'-3" and has a partial second floor and a partial attic. The space to the left is a shed dormer one story cathedral ceiling addition that is 15'-10".
Expert:  StructuralEng replied 1 year ago.

And you want to add a second floor to the side with the cathedral ceiling or make the other side a full second floor?
