I would like to construct a 12 x 15 wood deck on a flat

Hi, I would like to construct a 12 x 15 wood deck on a flat roof for storage of up to 5000 lbs. The building is brick 27 feet wide. I would like to span the 27 feet with 2 beams, either wood or steel with no support in the middle. What beams would you suggest? Thanks,

So the deck will only be part of the roof and the rest will be a typical roof?
What is the city and state so I can look at snow loading?

OK Tomorrow is fine. The city is Washington DC. The deck will be for storage only about one foot off of the roof. This is a flat roof on top of a restaurant that the tenant is using to store a freezer, some beer kegs, and old furniture. The roof keeps getting leaks because they are putting stuff right on the roof. I am hoping to span the 27 feet from parapet to parapet so no wood touches the roof itself.

I did see on the internet that Weyerhauser Parallam beams may work.

We could use 3 27 foot beams if necessary instead of 2.

What is the length of the rafters on each side of the beams?You will need to have the brick checked to ensure it can carry the heavy point loads or install a post to get the load off the brick.

PSL will work with a large depth. Steel will work with a more shallow depth.
