the contract stated that all doors will be solid maranti doors. we have agreed that we what a split back oor, but now has indicated that it wil cost us about R1500 ekstra.

but this is not all in the contract it is stated that all coboards are included in the cost, but when we asked for drwers he said that it would cost us R400 eksta per drawer. this was not mensioned in the contract. the study did not have cubboards on the plan and therefore we need to pay ekstra to get them installed. the kitched did not have capboards on the plan ithere but the were included in the price, but also not the centre console for he kitchen. acording to the builder that would cost us ekstra.

we feel don in by the builder ans would like to know who we can go and see and how can assist us to get what we have payed for.

Hi Jaco

One is bound to the agreements dandy in this case to the agreement which includes your spec list. If he deviates from this list then you are obviously entitled to ask for specific performance in terms of the agreement. If you however deviate,,then he can obviously reconsider the costs of such a deviation whether it is less or more than the specified item. It is however all boiling down to the agreement and the spec list.

Pleas ask ore if not clear.
