When you restart the laptop. On Login screen check next to power icon if wireless network is connected. You need to have internet connected to get your new password ***** to laptop.

Its best to keep Password ***** laptop as its a good security measure.

Go to Settings >> Accounts >> Sign in Options >> Windows Hello PIN

Click on Remove PIN

and then Add PIN add new PIN which you like to set.

Do you mean PIN? We cannot remove Password. If you like you can remove PIN
