Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far with your CS3?

I installed it, but I have had repeated message that it is not registered. I re-entered the serial number and received a message that I can't register the product twice. The second message suggested that I uninstall it, then re-install it. That seemed to work, but, today, I received another message telling me that my product was not registered and gave the option of either registering it now, or later. I tried the register now option but received no response, nor did the message disappear. I tried the register later button, and I can use it. I have registered the product so the fault is not at my end.

Anti-virus software will often cause this type of problem. Disable your anti-virus software, then restart your computer then test to see if the issue still occurs. If it does not occur, enter Adobe CS3 into the whitelist filter of your anti-virus software so that it will allow CS3 to run without disruption.
