Nothing with this one, but I had avirus in another. Wiped the hdd and now everything is disabled in the bios

Technician's Assistant: What's the brand and model of your computer? And the Operating System (OS)?

Old Dell with nothing now but was win10 pro and I'm trying to reinstall it.

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on with your computer? What have you tried so far?

I wiped it about aweek ago and I've tried everything I know.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Computer Expert to know before I connect you?

Only disc it will boot is PC diagnose and repair disc

I was wrong it's no longer a Dell just the case. I changed the motherboard etc a while back.
the PC I'm using now is a dell
The BIOS on the machine is AMI V 02.58

You can't access the machine in trouble because it won't boot. All the drives show disabled
in the BIOS

Looking for a tab relating to booting in the BIOS SETUP screen, Select "Boot" menu via use ←/→ key, You'll see a submenu that's specific to the PC Drive boots sequence. Use ↓/↑key to highlight "CDROM DRIVE", hit "Enter".

I entered F10 and the response now is "Insert proper disk and reboot" but it's a loop
that I never get out of and the cd/dvd still shows disabled

Go into it and make sure your IDE controllers are enabled, that your Serial ATA devices are set to all the devices available.

Once this is done press F10 to save, then Reboot.

you should then be able to boot to the CD drive and re-install Windows 10 Pro

When you have IDE1 highlighted. You can press enter to bring up the enable /disable screen

It doesn't give me that menu. Only thing I get is PIO or DMA and no matter what I choose
it goes to PIO I'm 81 and having brain freeze. I need to quit till tomorrow

I enabled Legacy USB in the BIOS and got the keyboard and mouse working.

When you get into BIOS, change the startup confiugration to boot to CD first instead of HDD
