Hi Andy. I hope your day is doing well. I have an issue with launching an application that worked under win 7 and now refuses to run UNLESS I restart every time I turn on the system,

Technician's Assistant: Which software or app can I help with?

Its a application called Abacus32.exe an accounting program.

Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far with your software?

All my other applications run with no difficulty.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Software Expert to know before I connect you?

Its just the one that consistently refused to launch after each turn off and turn on.

Hello,

My name is David.

Right click on the Abacus32.exe file and click Properties, then click the Compatibility tab. In the drop down box select Windows 7. Click Apply and then click OK. Then try starting the program and let me know if it starts working without issues in compatibility mode.
