It's a go pavilion laptop 15-cc 152od core i5-825OU processor

Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far with your laptop? Have you installed any updates recently?

No . Only installed my yahoo email account . Then the computer ask me for my password ***** login into the computer and it would not open. Ask me for the password ***** same thing happened, then ask me to reset password ***** will not reset unless I has a sub device

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Email Expert to know before I connect you?

Yes do I have to get the sub device if this should happen again?

Your Windows 10 user account is almost certainly connected to your online Microsoft.com account. This makes replacing a forgotten password *****—and arguably more secure.

On another computer, go to Microsoft’s Sign in page. Once there, enter your email address and click Can’t access your account.

Then follow the wizard. You’ll have to prove that you really are you, based on answers and phone numbers that you’ve previously provided. Eventually, you’ll be asked to create a new password.

That technique won’t work if you took the pains to create a local account. In that case, use the Windows 7 instructions above, with these exceptions:

  • The ease of access icon is in the lower-right corner, between the Power and Connect to Internet icons.

If you are using Windows 7 you will need a password ***** or installation disk
