I have tried to restore to previous version, but when I updated, it removed all my C++ files and many other programs.

You may need to either A. find the lost C++ files - what are they? where were they before they were lost? and how and from what sign did you first realize they were lost? .... or B. do a System Restore (which does not affect data files... but then, where are they missing? updates don't affect C++ files either, usually... or C. try data recovery utilities instead of 'reversing' the update, which is likely not to do any good at all.
