Toshiba satellite running Windows 10

Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far with your Satellite? Have you installed any updates recently?

Yes, a Windows update. Tried soft boot, hard boot, enter (reboots and then red to lockup).

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Computer Expert to know before I connect you?

The message in a window with a red X says.........Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer , restart the installation.
