I installed the Mac OS High Sierra this weekend, and when I went to open my most used FileMarkerPro 13 file, it crashed and continues to crash each time I try to open it. It is the file where I have all my account numbers and passwords, so ti is critical to me. How can I recover this file?

Technician's Assistant: What apps were you running right before your Mac crashed?

Probably Microsoft Word, but I closed all apps to proceed with the installation of the Mac OS software.

Technician's Assistant: How much storage do you have left on your Mac? (For Mac OS 10.7 and later, you can check storage through the Apple Menu -> About This Mac -> Storage. For earlier versions, you can do this through Finder.)

I have 1.56 TB of storage remaining

I have tried other FileMaker files and they open, just not this one, which I call SCEW. I have also tried going back in the TimeMachine to open a previously saved copy, but get the same results.

No. Frankly, my confidence in this site is falling as each step seems to have another cost, and I'm not confident that this is a legitimate service.
