I have a subscription...

I have a subscription to Adobe Acrobat XI pro. I originally had the software on my office machine and my secretary's machine. I have replaced secretary with a laptop and I want to load the Adobe asset on my laptop now, moving same, in effect, from the Secdretarys computer.

Technician's Assistant: When did you last update Acrobat?

My subscription was renwed in July 2017, by which time the Secretary's machine had been shut down and the second "asset" was not being used.

First, you will need to deactivate Acrobat XI Pro on the old computer:

  • Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.

  • Launch the application.

  • Choose Help > Deactivate.

  • Choose one of the following options:

    • Deactivate or Suspend Activation: These options deactivate the software but retain licensing information on your computer. Choose one of these options if you want to deactivate the software temporarily, and you are planning to activate it on this computer again.
    • Deactivate permanently: This option deactivates the software and removes the licensing information from your computer. If you want to use the software on this computer again, reenter the serial number.
  • Then you can install it on the new computer.
