Hello, and thank you for contacting JustAnswer. My name is ***** ***** I will do my best to assist you today.
Task Host is suppose to run in the background, and this is normal. What I have been able to find out is that if Task Host is running and using a lot of resources (such as, not allowing other programs to launch), it may mean that you have a virus or some malware on your computer. I recommend downloading Malwarebytes for free, and run a scan on your computer for malware (www.malwarebytes.com).
If you have an anti virus program, I recommend running that as well.
