Just out of the box new Chomebook. Charged overnight. I can't put in my network. When I click on "network" I get the languages, again. Also, can't "shut down." Must do that manually. I have tried numerous times.
JA: What kind of computer do you have?
Customer: Asus Chromebook
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: No. Nothing. It just came, yesterday. I haven't even been able to use it.
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I can't think of anything. Brand new. Just out of box.

This is usually an issue with the Firmware, so I would first like you to do this please.

Remove the charger from the Chromebook and hold the power button to off for 35 seconds.

Release, then connect the charger and try to turn on the Chromebook and use it.
