I just bought Adobe Acrobat Pro dc for my mac. however I'm not able to finish downloading it. it tells me that Safari needs be closed....which it is. I even restarted the computer.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the model of your Mac, and what operating system are you running?
Customer: imac, desktop....late 2013/macOS Sierra, 10.12.2
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: probably last week i use chrome

conflicting application is blocking this. Run the Activity Monitor to stop it.

  • Go to Applications > Utilities to find Activity Monitor, and launch it by double-clicking its icon. (The Applications folder is on the root level of your hard drive.)

  • In the Activity Monitor, select the process with the full name SafariNotificationAgent, then click the upper-left button to close the process.
