Customer Question

I'm trying to make a payment to skype and I get caught in a loop where I put my info in time after time and it just repeats same questions
JA: What kind of computer do you have?
Customer: macbookpro
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: i received a message 2 days ago saying new skype updates were added
JA: Anything else you want the computer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: just that I've been trying to pay skype for several months - very frustrating

are you there?

I paid my $5. Is this a scam?
Expert:  Bruce Wilner replied 6 months ago.

No, this is not a scam. Mr. Charles Schwab would not have invested $25 million with us recently were it a scam.

BTW, I never heard of a five-dollar scam!

What IS a scam is that Skype is asking you for money. Are you sure you are talking with Skype and not some poseur? I use Skype, and it costs me $0.

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Skype is not asking me for money. My credit card which backed up my account expired and I needed to update that info. Also I have a balance if about $5 and wanted to add $10 but have so far been unable to do that.

I can't believe that Skype doesn't have some sort of direct on-line answer to these types of questions and I'm forced to go through a 3rd party. Very frustrating

The only numbers I can get for Skype help takes me to a Dropbox voicemail. Doesn't skype have a help chat of their own?
