Customer Question

Have Norton 360 since 2008 in XP notebook. Just got a new one with Windows 10 and want to install my Norton on it. Can I use my original install disk from 2008? Sherm Chancellor
JA: How much experience do you have with this particular machine?
Customer: Turned it on Sat Dec 10 and found Edge was crappy. Loaded Chrome as browser. Windows edge just eats bandwith with junk I will never need. I want to have Norton before anything else.
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: In my old Norton? No updates on Sys 10.
JA: Anything else you want the software expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I am on my XP Dell. should I be on the new one?

The install may work, but unless you have a current subscription with Norton you won't have any of the latest updates since then. You need to stay current on the latest version of anitvirus or it won't do you much good.
