For the last 3 days I have been trying to update my Quark

For the last 3 days I have been trying to update my Quark and the last update --- couldn't quite see but maybe 10.5.something... gets about 75% done and then bombs. What's up with that? It has happened 3 times in a row.
JA: What kind of computer do you have?
Customer: Mac Pro running 10.12.1
JA: Have you installed any updates recently?
Customer: Yes... about 3 , 3-4 days ago. All went smoothly untill the last one.
