Customer Question

I have CS 5.1 installed on an I Mac. An Epson R1900 printer. Printing color and black and white, there have never been problems. Last week when I tried to print a B & W image it printed blue. The image was from a b&w negative that was scanned and that I have printed in the passed. The print setting was at grayscale. Edit/Color Setting RGB is at sRGB IEC61966-2.1. CMYK is at U.S. Web Coated (SWOP)v2. The print dialoge box Color Setting; Off (No color adjustment) How can I get it to print normally?

Hi Fred,
My name is***** will try my best to help you with your question.

When printing in grayscale or B&W, if there is not enough black ink in the printer then it will attempt to make black using a combination of colored inks.

Check that you have sufficient black ink available, then try again.
