Brother printer MFC-J470DW. I have reloaded printer drivers

Customer Question

Brother printer MFC-J470DW.
I have reloaded printer drivers onto ACER Windows 10, after upgrading to Windows 10. Initially, after an apparently faultless delete of old drivers, new driver download and install, I received the error 'device not found on system'.
I reran the download & install and ensured that the printer WIFI connection was restored, and then added the printer to the system via Windows printer add.
It then gave me 'printer is in error', which it appears not to be. What troubleshoot procedures do I have ?

Hi there Bill and welcome

First, is the printer indicating on it that its connected to the wifi network?

And what is the make and model of your wifi router?
