I have McAfee security on my laptop. Since then, I have tried to access my computer as an Administrator to install updates on other non-McAfee programs such as Apple update, Adobe Acrobat, etc. However, when I try to do so my access is denied. I am wondering if the security system is preventing me from doing this. Is this possible and if so, I do I access my Administrator to install the updates?

If your user account is just a standard user, not an "Administrator", then I believe that is causing this problem. Definitely, this is not caused by your McAfee security software.
