Hello. My name is***** will assist you with your question.

I have the information for their software update – I don't know what version you currently have, but I do believe this is the only update that's available. I will include for you the instructions on downloading along with links. Let me know if you still have questions.

SV360 Software Update

Click here to download TTS Terminal

SV360 (Manufactured from 2002-current) will start with version 3.XX

Use software upgrade box 3.06G only to upgrade the following versions:
3.04 through 3.06D

Use software upgrade box 3.16G only to upgrade the following versions:
3.16B through 3.16D

To install the downloaded software from your laptop to your TracStar antenna:

  1. Locate the IDB (Indoor Box) in your motor home.
  2. Power up or turn on your TracStar antenna (as you would normally do).
  3. Connect the USB-to-Serial cable and Null modem cable to your computer.
  4. Connect the other end of the Null mode cable to the 9- pin serial connector on the back of the IDB (Indoor Box).
  5. Close all open windows and open TssMvs32..
  6. Select Load Mik in upper right corner of the program.
  7. Select Main3.XXXX and click Open.
After a few seconds, the IDD (Indoor display) displays“Loading”.
The software is now being downloaded to your TracStar antenna. This will take about 10 minutes to finish. When the IDD no longer says “Loading”, the software upgrade is complete.

Procedure for upgrading new software to IDB through the serial port:
Using a null modem serial cable to connect to the PC.

  1. Set up the Hyperterm with 115200 baud,8N1, and Enable Xon/Xoff.
  2. Unplug the phone cable from the IDB and plug in the serial cable (null modem, if needed) from your laptop or PC
  3. Open up the new Hyperterm link
  4. Hit control + break on the keyboard
  5. Press 2 on the keyboard
  6. Then go to Transfer-> send text file. Choose the desired file (i.e. IDB2_Ver3.1_sdm.elf.s) and press Enter
  7. You should see the loading progress on the Hyperterm. When it is done, the new version number is ***** on the hand held.

I have updated some links that were incorrect in the original instructions from them online. But still if you have any problems with the links, let me know and I will find alternatives. If you still have questions these let me know.

you gave me the same thing that I already got from and the program don't work as the instruction says. I guess im asking for more detailed instructions on how to install it. When I open the file that I downloaded from the link there is no load mik to open in the right hand corner

Oh. You should have told me you tried everything on their page - I would have no way of knowing.

Which software upgrade are you trying to do? 3.04-3.06 or 3.16

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I need the 3.06G. I have the 3.06A
Expert:  Michael Hannigan replied 1 year ago.

Ok... do you have the serial cable connected and communicating?

Expert:  Michael Hannigan replied 1 year ago.

Basically, what it is referring to is once you have a serial session open with the antenna from a terminal program on the indoor box.

how do I know if it is communicating between the IDB and my laptop.that what I don't understand
Expert:  Michael Hannigan replied 1 year ago.

Do you have the serial port connected? Do you have the terminal software running? When you plug that serial cable in with the terminal software running (assuming it is configured properly) you will then see a text screen of what your options are. It will talk through the serial cable. The settings for the terminal connection will depend on your computer,
