What is the spec of your Mac?
Does Elements always crash when you try to do the same thing (e.g. import photos) or does it crash randomly?
To deletephotos you will have to use the Organizer - highlight the files you want to delete and right click then select delete.
I will need to know the CPU spec, memory spec, available hard disk space...
How much available hard disk space do you have?
Not sure if you got my first reply.
To delete photos you will have to use the Organizer. You cannot delete photos in Photo Editor.
To fix the Organizer, try trashing the prefs files so that they get automatically re-built on next launch.
1. Quit PSE14
2. Launch Finder and find the user Library by clicking the Go menu whilst holding down the Optn (alt) key (n.b. the library is hidden until you press the optn key) and inside the Library folder select the preferences folder. Then trash the following files:
Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 Paths
Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 Settings
3. Close Finder and launch PSE14 again. Let me know if Organizer now works normally again for you.
