I'm having a problem with Adobe Premier elements 12 that has started after my computer needed a complete reinstall. When I try to open and existing project the error message I get is "This type of file is not supported or the required codec is not installed". The codecs are the same pre and post reinstall.

There are two ways you can continue here: Remotely or via instructions.

I prefer remote because with instructions; it is going to take a lot of time to troubleshoot. If your preference is instructions; then i can opt out and open question to other experts who would/may instruct without remoting on. Let me know.
