I do not want to do a system restore.

I would suggest you to uninstall and reistall Windows Live Mail, After successfully uninstalling Live Mail, please follow these steps to perform clean removal:

1. Go to Computer.
2. Click on Local Disk (C:) and then go to Program Files.
3. Delete WindowsLive folder by pressing and holding Shift + Delete button on your keyboard.

Note : Before uninstalling Live Mail, I suggest that you back all your important files.

Thank you
