Hi Pearl, I'm going to be 69 in July. I was working full time until Dec 31 18. I will return to full time work in May, but at a lesser salary. I have not yet applied for SS benefits, I was planning to wait until I was 70. Since my salary will be lower, I was wondering if the best thing to do would be to take the $800 per month and have my Medicare payments deducted pretax from that income.
