Customer Question
My husband recently retired...

My husband recently retired and started collecting social security benefits and I have been collecting since I was 62. He is 65 and I am 70 and I have had health issues so didn't work as much as he has so he is making a significantly higher amount than I do. Am I entitled to collect anything from his social security without it changing his amount that he collects?

Accountant's Assistant: These retirement benefits are supposed to help us but they can be so complicated! The Retirement Expert will help you get the most benefits properly. Is there anything else important you think the Retirement Accountant should know?

I really am not sure but hope he will ask me if there is.
