Is the individual no longer identified as a person with disabilities?

For social security benefits purposes - yes - that is correct.

The SSA will NOT conduct a continuing disability review anymore. and will NOT verify if your condition has improved.

What if the individual returns to work part time after age 66, is the person no longer considered disabled?

Your full retirement age FRA is 66.

Full retirement age is the age at which a person may first become entitled to full or unreduced retirement benefits.

Starting with the month you reach full retirement age, you can get your benefits with no limit on your earnings.

Someone told me that if you work after FRA 66, for every $2 earned you lose $1 in Social Security Benefits. Is this true?
