I am 67 and still working full time. I also receive ss. If I were to quit working full time would my monthly ss income increase?

Your FRA - full retirement age is 66.

As you are above your FRA - your benefits are NOT affected regardless if you are working or not.

Correspondingly - the will not change if you stop working.

However - your work might affect your benefits.

The issue is that your social security benefits are based on 35 years of your past earning in which your indexed earned income was the largest.

So - if your additional working years are among these 35 years - your benefits are recalculated.

Normally such recalculations is done in January and that adjustment is made with regular COLA adjustment.
