Hi. My name is ***** ***** I will be happy to help you.

What were his Medicare premiums last year and what are the current Medicare premiums?

Ask Your Own Social Security Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
Medicare Monthly Premiums last year (2017) were $1143.00. Medicare Monthly Premiums this year (2018) for Jan, Feb. and March were still $1,143.00. His premiums are automatically deposited to our checking account.
Social Security Expert: emc011075, Tax Adviser replied 4 months ago

Maximum monthly Medicare premiums are $538. He cannot be charged 1143 for Medicare.

We are not on the same page! I did not mean medicare premiums I meant his monthly Social Security Payments in 2017 were $1143.00. He did not get the 2% increase for 2018. His social Security checks for Jan., Feb., and March for 2018 are still $1143.00.
Social Security Expert: emc011075, Tax Adviser replied 4 months ago

I was asking about his Medicare premiums. Most likely his increased was offset by higher Medicare premium for 2018.
